Rooted in Amsterdam
Nassen Amsterdam is a family business on Huidenstraat, in the heart of the Nine Streets. Co-owner Zoë Wijdenes runs the shop with her uncle and a dedicated team of food and wine lovers.
The name Nassen is connected to Zoë’s grandfather from the Jordaan, who grew up near Huidenstraat and walked along it to De Krijtberg as a child. In this familiar setting, we now bring together our love of good products, hospitality and personal advice.
In the shop, we are happy to help you choose cheese, wine, charcuterie, delicacies and freshly filled sandwiches for any occasion.

Our selection comes from the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy and beyond. We work with trusted suppliers and choose carefully for quality and flavour.

About Zoë Wijdenes
After studying at the hotel management school in Amsterdam, Zoë gained experience in Barcelona and at leading Amsterdam restaurants, including Librije’s Zusje Amsterdam — now Spectrum — and Bridges.
Her love of Italian, Spanish and French cooking, classic wines and hospitality is an important part of Nassen. Together with the team, she brings that experience to a welcoming shop: personal, knowledgeable and always in tune with the occasion.
